Supply lists for the 2010-2011 school year are now available. Click the link below to find your grade level.
Thirty-six student created projects have been selected to participate in the district Technology Fair. These projects include podcasts, digital artwork, multimedia work, digital story telling projects, and web design. The Technology Fair will be held May 15, 2010 from 9:30-12:30 at North Middle School.
When the Planet team launched the 'Where's Flippy?' competition we were amazed at the response - but there could only be one Grand Prize winner, so congratulations to Shannon Wentworth from Sixth Avenue Elementary School in Aurora, Colorado.

Staff from Sixth Avenue helped 61 children have a happy holiday season. Staff members donated nearly $1,900 and also provided clothes, shoes and toys for needy children.
Superintendent John Barry congratulated the staff. The Aurora Sentinel will soon be publishing an article about this generous act. Congratulations!!

Sixth Avenue Elementary Instructional Technology teacher Shannon Wentworth recently earned an award for the Colorado Hispanic Heritage project and flipchart she created for her Promethean Interactive Whiteboard.
Wentworth teaches students in grades K-5 and also offers instructional technology training support to other teachers at Sixth Avenue.
As part of winning Promethean Planet’s “Where’s Flippy?” monthly competition, Wentworth earned ActivSlate and ActivHub devices for her classroom.
